Gary/Chicago Airport Builds Capacity

Investment in the Gary/Chicago Airport continues to pay off as the Terminal Road Improvement Project is currently underway. With completion targeted for Fall 2003, the Terminal Road Improvement Project is designed to improve traffic flow and increase capacity for airport ground transportation inclucing taxis, shuttles and buses. In addition, expanded roadway and access to the 800 car parking lot will increase convenience for passengers.

The Terminal Road Imporvemnt Project was awarded to Gary based vendor Rieth-Riley construcion in the bid amount of $627,348.50 at the June 25th Gary/Chicago Airport Authority board meeting.
